Game developers and designers from 11 countries will battle Nordeus Hackathon

Nordeus, publisher of the most popular sports game on mobile devices, "Top Eleven" game with over 100 million registered users, announces that Hackathon website from December 12, 2015 which takes place in Belgrade, Serbia will have teams from 11 countries. Participating countries are Romania, Greece, Serbia, Montenegro, Great Britain, Bosnia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Ukraine and Croatia.

Those interested have access to less than three weeks to enroll at the fifth edition of the largest competitions of its kind in Southeast Europe. To participate, game developers and designers Romania will have to respect the following rules:
  • Teams entered must consist of 2-4 members
  • Registration may be made by one member of the team that will add CVs of Other team
  • Those who will register individually will be distributed by the organizers in teams of four people

The entry deadline is November 23. The platform on which participants can access www.nordeushackathon.com is on the site and those who participated in previous editions, no longer can also enroll for this year's edition.

"Nordeus Hackathon In 2015 we want to have participants who already have experience in terms of game development. After completing the registration, we select the best teams depending on CVs that we receive. Teamwork, skill and passion are some of the values necessary that we look for when we develop the best games in the industry, "said Branko Milutinović, CEO of Nordeus.

The competition will be attended by 12 teams that will compete for achieving the best video game on a certain theme, shown in competition day. Criteria considered for assessing projects are creativity, ideas, manner of development and final product. Each competitor will be selected provide workspace and equipment. Moreover, all transport and food expenses will be covered by Nordeus so participants can focus entirely on developing the best games.

Prizes will be awarded to the three best teams on the following criteria: multimedia presentation, technical complexity and gameplay. Those who can not reach the Hackathon competition Nordeus can watch online via a dedicated online video broadcasts and ongoing updates on the website of the organizer, www.nordeushackathon.com. Games developed during the event will be available to download after its completion on the same web page. Players will be able to vote in turn preferred project, its makers won a special prize.
